A good drainage system provides a place for the water to drain, prevents subsoil from mixing with the WOODCARPET®, creates a weed barrier, and also creates air space allowing the WOODCARPET® to breathe. DURADRAIN® is a unique product that includes all drainage layers in one lightweight panel. DURADRAIN® is resistant to mildew, rot, weathering and chemicals. Installation of these lightweight panels is simple and can be done without power equipment. DURADRAIN® not only provides excellent vertical and horizontal drainage, it also adds three feet of fall protection, which means you will not need as much surfacing!
WOODCARPET MATs® offer exceptional value by maximizing recycled material content to make a wear mat that is second to none. These mats are made from recycled foam and then covered with a durable coating. WOODCARPET MATs® will provide fall protection in the kick-out areas of the playground surface. These mats can be anchored on top of the WOODCARPET® or bonded to DURADRAIN®. All WOODCARPET MATs® come with a 5 year warranty. The WOODCARPET MAT® is certified alone for a 5' fall height and over DURADRAIN® for an 8' height.
EPDM
This product provides a functional and durable surface that is also seamless and aesthetically pleasing. When applied in critical fall height zones, Kangaroo EPDM Safety Surfacing conforms to the guidelines set by the CPSC and ADA for playground surfaces.

Rainbow Turf
Rainbow Turf® Poured-in-Place Unitary Surfacing consists of a single density pour of our colored Rainbow Turf® combined with our special polyurethane adhesive.
This surfacing meets the federal guidelines for HIC, ASTM, and the latest Handicap Accessibility testing.
Being cost effective and it's natural appearance, it has attracted the attention of such clients as Disney’s Epcot Center and Disney’s Blizzard Beach, where the product has been in place for several years.

Play Mattas
Play Mattas are the ultimate in safety surfacing, a unique modular surfacing system designed to be installed on to any existing hard surface where fall heights of up to 10 feet (3 meters) are required, thus providing safety in children's play areas. The Play Matta system has been designed to quickly drain surface water and allow children to play on a dry playground. The system specifically aims to minimize slippage yet provide a landing surface that lessens the jarring effect of sudden impact with the ground. The flexibility of Play Mattas and the colors available mean each playground installation can be planned to suit the individual requirements of the client. Play Mattas can be fitted all year round and in most weather conditions. Once installed, the Play Matta surface is ready for immediate use.
When professionally fitted by Matta Products Ltd, Play Mattas carry a five-year product guarantee.
The Play Matta system consists of three separate layers, specifically designed as follows:
- The bottom - a shock pad base
- The middle - a dust and weed barrier
- The top - interlocking Play Mattas
The flexible nature of the mats allows for expansion and contraction. The Play Mattas can be installed in most situations including gentle slopes. They can be laid on existing concrete, asphalt and are frequently used on properly compacted soil areas. Where the Play Mattas are laid directly on to the ground an extra layer of dust/weed barrier is laid beneath the shock pads.
Appropriate fixing of Play Mattas is by way of nylon security pins specially manufactured as part of the system. For concrete or asphalt a special nylon masonry anchor is used. The mats are all glued as additional security with Matta Fix glue. Play Mattas are easy to install and are designed to provide long-life service and prevent trips, slips and falls.
Extensive testing has been undertaken on the Play Matta system by reputable laboratories around the world. The Play Mattas system complies with a range of ASTM and BS EN standards along with other individual country requirements. Test results are available upon request.
